I'm deep into strategizing for our SDR team at Agorapulse for this year.
Quick heads-up about the newsletter.
Gotta admit, it's been a bit of a struggle to keep up with it and actually enjoy the process.
Took a step back in December to reflect on everything SDR Game-related from 2023: the newsletter, the podcast, and all the stuff I've been sharing on LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube.
Honestly, trying to juggle it all? It's a lot.
Realized I can't keep up without compromising on quality. So, it's time for a bit of a shake-up. Time to narrow down my focus.
After some thought, I've decided to zero in on what's really taking off:
The podcast and LinkedIn.
Here's the deal:
The podcast is getting more love than the newsletter. More feedback, more engagement, and it's genuinely helping people.
While the newsletter space is crowded, the podcast arena feels like there's room to really stand out, especially in the sales world.
Found this sweet spot within the sales podcast niche that feels just right.
Since January, I've been all in on the podcast, and guess what?
It's already paying off big time.
We hit half of Q4's download numbers in just 5 weeks.
So, 2024 is looking pretty good for the show, and I'm pretty excited about that.
And the most important, I really enjoy the process of producting the podcast.
Plans to keep the momentum going include launching a weekly online/live event for real-time Q&As:
Plus solo episodes packed with tips you can actually use and some personal journaling episodes.
As for the newsletter?
It's not going anywhere, but it's taking a backseat. It'll be there to back up the podcast and keep our conversation going.
